Gameplayīasically the same as the original. It’s better because Himiko isn’t shoved in your face as much, but Date was only slightly better for me. I just wish the game had taken more liberties I guess instead of just being a slightly different version of the first. Her different way of thinking could have lead to some actually interesting stuff instead of a repeat of world tour plus a bunch of slightly different versions of each characters arc from the original. She is one of the few heroines with a solid goal(build up a country and get rich) that relies on the guy to progress. She has a different goal then you that works alongside yours.
I honestly think Columbus makes a better main heroine actually. She really doesn’t show up much though, and in terms of actual main story screen time I think Columbus has more. And she ninjas some situations to help get the h going and make the girls better at whatever they need. Her main gimmick in the character events is just to get the guy married, which she does to at least 40 of the girls and countless faceless NPC’s. Himiko has more sex scenes then her, in fact they share the first one. She barely is, by the way, as she plays little into the main story other then kicking it off and randomly cheering up the guy(you can name him and he’s the only male so I’m just going to keep calling him that). I want to take an aside and mention how I don’t really like Date as the main heroine. This sets up the kinda choose where you want to go part of the game as you can progress in like five directions, getting certain allies as you want. Their leader throws around some mind corrupting orbs around the world and its the man’s job to find them or else Yellowstone will burst and goodbye America’s. After doing so, the man has a dream that leads the two to deciding to conquer the whole world so as to find where the dream took place and maybe cure the man’s amnesia.Įventually you meet the Knight Templar’s, the real villains of the story. After kinda nursing him back to alive, she declares him her brother and takes him to conquer Zipang to get rid of the isolationism that would require kicking out the amnesiac man from the country. StoryĪ man washes up on the shore of Zipangu(Japan), and Date Masamune finds him. Gold is a not sequel, it literally has nothing to do with the original’s plot but uses the entirely same cast(with like 8 new characters) to tell a slightly different story.
The pseudo sequel but really just a lot of copied assets into a slightly better game.
H Scene Count- 60 plus opening and 7 scenes of a girl being nude for some reason but no sex.
